Music

The music ministry of our church is blessed to have many talents coming together to “make a joyful noise unto the Lord” on Sunday mornings. 

Lillie McAllister, our Pianist, and Robert Downey, our Organist and Choir Director, are extremely talented. They present several special concerts during the year to the congregation.

The Adult Sanctuary Choir includes those with professionally trained voices along with many members who just love to sing. Members enjoy easy, relaxed practices and fellowship gatherings in addition to Sunday morning worship services and special performances throughout the year. The Men's Choir gives special performances throughout the year. The Sanctuary Choir meets in the Sanctuary each Thursday evening at 7:00 pm for practice. The Men's Choir meets in the Sancutuary each Thursday evening at 8:30 for practice. Those interested in joining the choir are encouraged to talk to the choir director or any choir member for additional information.

We have two hand bell choirs which perform at various times throughout the year. The Carillon Choir meets each Thursday at 6:00 pm for an hour rehearsal in the Fellowship Hall. We have four octaves of Joy Bells and three octaves of tone chimes.

The children of the church celebrate music with their songs on special occasions!
