The next class is Friday, May 27th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at BUMC
The Safety and Security Ministry wants to provide basic CPR/First Aid/AED training to members of BUMC. There will be no cost to you. We are only asking that you be willing to be a “go to person” should a situation arise.
This training will cover topics such as: ● CPR (hands-only) ● How to apply and use an AED ● Recognition of stroke, heart attack, diabetic emergency, etc. ● Handling injuries and falls ● Bleeding control ● Choking, etc.
Cayla Crouch will be providing this training. She does the certification training for our Preschool. While this training will not equate to the certification level, it will meet our goal of having a number of volunteers trained to provide basic medical help until professional support arrives should we have an incident at church.
